The Role of the Thumas in Politics

The role of the thumas is, okay, so I know that I'm supposed to defend the weak. So how do I do that in the face of frightful things? And if you are nice and happy and you have a perfect communion with God, but yet you cannot keep control, you cannot lead a people, what good are you? This is one of Machiavelli's most famous dictums: unarmed prophets never succeed. You have to actually be able to back up your big ideas, your nice floaty virtues, you have to be able toBack them up with some kind of force or control or political stability.
