Doctors at High Risk of Suicide

Doctors are recognised as being at high risk of suicide. Is it just because of the workload or is there anything else in an around medicine that makes that happen? The work itself for definite is a key risk factor and often there's nothing left in the tank to care for ourselves. Complaints can affect a doctor's well-being and mental health and that happens so we really need to be aware if you get a complaint please do think about seeking some support if it's affecting your well-being.
