There are around 30 thousand species of known blood sucking animals, thousands of which are obligate sanguavors. And that means that they have to eat blood, and oftentimes only blood,. For many of them would not be able to eat something else, even if they wanted to. There are also a bunch of what are known as facultative so this, these are terms i think we've used before. Obligate means you have to do the thing. Facultative means you sometimes do. Sometimes do cause i guess you feel like it ar get needed for some you dabble.
