interval weight loss has nothing to do with interminete fasting. You get person to lose a couple of kilos over the course of a month, before then maintaining weight during the next month. This allows them to go on and lose weight again during the third month, maintenance for the fourth month, weight lost, maintenance, et cetera. So it's like a step down approach. It prevents your biology coming into play - we don't see decrease in metabolism or metabolic rate. We don't see that increase in appetite,. hormon signalling system telling you to eat more. Most people don't have a problem or difficulty losing weight. The real difficulty is remember the weight regain.
