The Challenges of Emerging Infectious Diseases
With covid there's a good deal of data available that allow you to do this forecasting, but it seems like a much higher hurdle to anticipate what would happen in the next disease outbreak. How do you think about the challenges associated with diseases that we've never seen before? Yes, that's another great question. And i think one of the task is to have surveillance systems that are rapidly adaptable to new challenges.
