Melissa murray, welcomed to the podcast. i want to start with what i really think is the most basic question when we talk about the constitution and abortion. And i'm going to read a quote from justice scalia m he said, regardless of whether you think prohibiting abortion is good or bad, the constitution does not say anything about it. I think that most questions in the united states are left up to democratic choice. So why is abortion different? Why is this something that shouldn't be decided by legislatures? Well, so first let's back up with this quote.
