The Trump Administration's Reconstruction of the Immigration System

There was a mass exodus of asylum officers under the trump administration in particular there needs to be hiring. restore the u.s. refugee program which basically has been non-existent president biden set a goal basically of 125 000 and i think last year they resettled 12,000 if you restore the U.S. refugee program and get anywhere close to the amount of slots that the administration has recommended you take pressure off of the asylum system. reopen ports of entry and increase capacity at the ports of entry which by the way was the system prior to the trump administration.
