Is a Roth IRA a Good Investment?
My wife recently graduated from college with a bachelor's degree and began teaching Spanish at a local school near our home. She has been offered the opportunity to participate in a Vanguard IRA or Roth IRA. My question is, is an IRA a good investment idea? I'm 52 and worked for a local government agency with about nine years left until full retirement.
