Is Love More Exciting Than It Is?

A while ago, i received a message from somebody on instigram that really was so touching. A woman shared with me that her married friend had recently said to her, i think you keep feeling disappointed by your boy friends because you think that love is more exciting than it actually is. We do to grieve that some of the novelty does wear off, to mourn the dissipation of what some people call n r e, new relationship energy. And we need to mourn and release and grieve so that we can welcome and get to know everything that lies beyond, everything that lives beyond that initial rush.
