The Key to Trading Success Is Robustness
Trading is a risk reward numbers game, and most who think it is something else usually face a forced awareness at some point in their trading careers. One of my trading bodies enjoys a trading success rate annually of around 15 % winners, with 50 % losers and 35 % break even trades. In order for a system to be successful, it has to be what i call robust. When you trade with higher frequency, the profit you earn per trade decreases while transaction costs stay the same.
