The Albi-Gencians Criticize the Church
Peter Waldo is the name sometimes Pierre Valdez in a French translation. He was like Francis of Assisi, like a Guston of Hippo. And he has a conversion experience where he says there's got to be more to this. The albi-gencians are so-called because they were centered around the town in France called Albi Albi. They harken back to an earlier tradition of heresy in the church known as the Cathars or the Bogomials.
