She says that she was raised in a slightly dysfunctional environment, but has been physically and emotionally abused. In fact, I would say if you really put an effort into opening up and finding your tribe, I can almost guarantee that you are going to have that. It's one of the most soothing and life-affirming feelings that I not only have ever experienced, but that I get to experience on a continuing basis.
