Is There a Liner Sock?

Bob Greene: My favorite approach when I'm wearing a soft hiking shoe and my shoe of choice for winter is something like the waterproof breathable astral Piska boot. He says in extreme cold conditions you can benefit from wearing a liner sock or a thin, tall ski sock. And then for very, very cold conditions, you can put a neoprene over boot over your ski or hiking boot as an additional insulation layer outside the actual boot. For those of you who have followed his cold snow footwear system riding over the years, you'll know that he's a huge fan of rocky Gore tech socks.
