NATO's Military Commitment to Other Countries

NATO has come to similar conclusions that its conventional military forces aren't capable, and they are not structured enough. A question mark hangs over the United States because it's impossible to disentangle Japan and China question from European question. It is just really clear, I think, even after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, that there just is not the appetite in most Western European countries for defense spending.
