Do You Think We Shouldn't Engage in Dialogue?

I think we live in a culture where dialogue is frowned upon and we're taught from a very young age that we shouldn't engage in it. We have to get people to a point where they're willing to ask questions. I try to encourage people to recognize that if you're refusing to disagree with somebody, you're basically saying to them, I don't think you're capable of understanding me.
