The Diggers, I'll Just Go On
The diggers are attacking the very notion that anybody has the right to ownership of land. They argue that this on came about originally by violence, and this is what created what they call propriety or as we would say to day, property right. And in a way, you could see these diggers as kind of seventeenth century communists, right? Thersn, no clear reason not to describe them that way, even though that word didn't exist yet,. But in this way, you can see this conflict over questions that lay beneath the political mathinations and factions in parliament.
