The Feedback Loop in Textual Programming

There's a big difference between applying patterns later on to some text that's already sitting there versus having them being applied live as you type. In pop-like, for example, if I type five minutes into a note, by default, pop-like has this time recognizer built in which will search for all the durations you add to a note. And when Itype five minutes, this underlying just appears and clicks into place. It feels good to have the system give you that signal that it recognized what you did. But of course, on the other hand, we still need to figure out what you meant.
