Again, perus won that next battle. Now he'd won two huge battles, but he still had this feeling of gloom and foreboding. He said if we defeat the romans in one more such battle, we'll be totally ruined. We're actually cooked. The pyric victory is just as good as a because you win this battle, but it comes at a significant cost.
