The trouble is that the oil itself becomes an impediment to changing the situation. Libya under Gaddafi was able to redistribute a lot of oil revenue out of the oil producing region in eastern Libya to people in western Libya where there isn't much oil. And because Gaddafi was redistributing wealth not just on a class basis but regionally within Libya, Cyreneca, the eastern part of Libya, always resented Gaddafi for redistributing money away from them. So I think that there needs to be a solution in Nigeria before the oil runs out.
