i've spent a lot of time with the papers of rachel carson, the great marine biologist and writer. Her 19 62 book, sile in spring, we can basically thank for the modern environmental movement. And she's somebody who started out as a poet and ended up doing biology, but never relinquished poetry. So she ended of becoming an incredibly poetic writer of science that, in addition to changing culture and policy. i do think there isa responsibility in that. Especially for you, natually, because you think so beautifully and poetically. En by your work.
