Is There a Similarity Between Chinese and Chinese?

The character for tree basically looks like a tree. Think of a a t, where underneath each of the arms of the t has like two more lines that sort of form a triangle. And an easier example is co which is k o u in pinion. That is the a word, and it's just a square. Soi the chinese is actually very, very beautiful in certain respects, because it has that same kind of, like, visual meaning.
