The Importance of Trust in Leadership

I've met lots of coaches that all express sometimes their frustration that they say they'll do team meetings and nobody speaks. And my answer to those leaders are you argue the silence is feedback to you. The silence should be deafening you. So trust is one of those factors that's often more relevant when it's not there. Those like Pocaccino that focus on it are like Michael Jordan in the documentary, other ones that seem to be tapping into that secret sauce. But I think this new breed of managers are recognizing that their job is to create leaders. It's about taking people along for the ride.
