The Young Sun Paradox and the Gaia Hypothesis

The Sun is now at least 25% brighter than it used to be, which in simplest models would see the planet be about 6% warmer. The faint young Sun paradox tends to work against the Gaia hypothesis being valid for early Earth. That means there couldn't have been a life-based self-regulating planet half a billion years ago.
