Taking Things Into My Own Hands

Maria Corp went missing on February 10. Police were given a plastic bag of belongings from a friend of Maria's. Inside the bag was an odd collection, including receipts, a piece of plastic hose and a flip wallet containing a fake police badge alongside a picture of Joe. There were also several notes in Maria's handwriting, including one that read, quote, Dear Joe, I love you very much, I cannot keep going like this, I have taken things into my own hands.
