If there's somebody who is a very significant public figure, more likely that your supervisors all the way up to the top are going to be reviewing the indictment. I also don't think that's necessarily corrupt or evil. As I say in the book, there are good reasons for this because prosecutors have to protect their own reputation,. A failure in one high profile case can swamp an entire prosecutor's reputation and entire office's reputation.
