A New Connection Between Monkey Pox and Smallpox
Nigeria has experienced a large outbreak since 20 17, with over 500 suspected cases. For many front line health care workers in the country, the fear exposure to the varus remains a big concern. Vaccines against smallpox also offer some protection against monkey pox. But small pox was eradicated, and so now people aren't routinely vaccinated against it,.
