Is the Break Through Prize Creating Collaboration?
Six three million dollar prizes are given to science, scientists andd mathematicians. But has it created a mimimi attitude in what might have once been more collaborative? I think t its an excellent idea but let me clafy one thing, because you are right, tand academia can be extremely competitive. So i'm weary of saying that fields in which were focused on credit, rather than focused on money, are innately more collaborative.
