How to Start a Marketing Community?

If I started a marketing community right now, it would be pretty hard to cut through the clutter. So what are some elements that actually kind of ignite a community when you're trying to get started? Have you ever seen that Ted Talk, where they have the guy at the music festival? Yeah, yeah. That is the same thing with community. You get one or two people starting. They invite a friend. And so you can start building the community.
