The Mind State of Indecision
Doubts and aversion are two of the five hindrances. Often these hindrances come disguised as something skilful, so it's very easy to be fooled by them. In english, the word doubt can refer to two quite different mind states. So one is skilful and one is not so skilful. The unskilful aspect of doubt, maybe we could use the term sceptical doubt. This is the mind state of indecision, of uncertainty. Now it's perplexity, and it's, it's the opposite of confidence.
