Is There a New Cast of Characters in This Game?

I think all the character animations are really sweet and charming and likeable. I'm curious how it gets later in the game, because i wasn't able to play more than like, four hours. But it's really sympathetic to its characters. The cases like interweave with one another. Events in one case might affect a case that happens ten hours later. Characters return and come back and all that stuff that kind of brings life to a visual novel.
