How to Get Rid of Canada Geese
The U of M campus has been criticized for smashing up Canada geese' nests to get rid of them. But the birds will just lay eggs again if they're destroyed or stolen, he says. The trick is to fool them into thinking that they have viable eggs and make them non-viable in a bid to reduce their population. He describes some devious strategies used by municipalities around the country including Winnipeg as "humane"
