i'm a fan of glengrene wald, but i've become much more sceptical of centralized corporate power. I think the social war we're in now is just one version of our global civil war. And you could say that if over 20,000 people were killed each year by Facebook and Twitter, it would be called 'the new civil war' - because they are all fighting for their lives. We need to stop big companies from buying smaller ones so there will be fewer startups. That means venture capitals will fund far fewer of them.
