Johnny Kitagawa's Death
In July of 2019, Johnny Kitagawa had a stroke and was taken to the hospital. Japan held a two day memorial concert in his honor. Over 88,000 people were in attendance. Hashtag thank you Mr. Johnny was trending on Twitter immediately after his death. An idol from J&I even wrote a song as a tribute for Johnny's death.
