The Governor General's Visit to the Six Nations

The six nations have always been assured of and enjoyed care and protection under her Majesty's government, thus maintaining an unbroken alliance. The memory of these transactions I can assure you shall never be allowed to pass away. In addition to the luncheon in Steyer's Hall, 1,000 loaves of bread, 600 pounds of cheese, and eight boxes of biscuits were distributed. We haven't forgotten that chain and what it means.
