Introduction
Matthew Kessler has spent the last two years having conversations with people who have wildly different visions for the future of meat and livestock. In Efficient Meat Future, we know people like to eat meat. How can we give them what they want while reducing the impacts that that consumption has on the environment? And one way to do that is try to increase efficiency. An alternative meat future. To hear that we could grow meat for themselves made me feel like, oh my gosh, this is like such an obvious next step for humanity. This is a win-win-win when you think about not just reducing environmental impact but also animals need not suffer anymore for food.
