i got a sense that in some ways, his peripatetic nature really helped him out when it came to figuring out how to obtunately solve some of these applied problems. Other people will find find ments obviously clearly brilliant, but there's others who may be, were focused on one particular intellectual domain more and so didn't have the breadth to automatically see the problem from a different dimension. And i think von norman is is fascinating a figure and also really under appreciated genius.
