I feel they must have been locals, and i feel like they were friends. Only one of the girls was probably the intended target. The other two could have identified who had committed this crime. This also feels to me kind of like it's too brazen to be a first time killing? I mean, that level of violence, it seems to indicate that these offenders were not new to murder, and hart had a record.
