Soil as an Eco System
We're seeing the loss of soil as one of the great threats to human survival. In some parts of the world, 70 % of soils are seriously degraded. And even in countries like this, where we got a pretty stable climate, by comparison, we are totally hammering the basis of our subsistence. It's suicidal. I mean, it's really amazing when you get to grits oug what soil is for.
