Do You Know What You're Looking for in Private Equity?
There's always this view in private equity that you could do a ton of work on a company or an industry and then have nothing happen. I think if you go back over our history, you would see a bit of a family tree of what led to what and what knowledge in a process led to a certain deal. It makes you a much better buyer. The entry price is less important than the goodness of the asset that we've bought. We had to convince our team that our enthusiasm was warranted.
