Is the State Legislative Right to Submit a Rival Slate?

Brad, do you agree with ned or not that a state legislature can't decide that the popular vote wasn't properly held and then submit a rival slate? And should a revised electoral count act take account of this possibility of two slates? I don't think the legislaturen change the process. Now now know that that's te function of the electoral count act, which is itself authorized, as ned says, by congress,. Which gives congresse power to choose he time for selecting electors. So i do think that you can bind the state and say, these are the people. But i do agree, once they've selected the means, that that's the means hat they live
