The Origins of the Gee Tate Show

While at NYU, you were taking classes with Maggie Carey. She had created the show of Liska Kowski, who was a writer on Saturday Night Live. So they cast me as this teenage delinquent kind of daughter of the character Gee Tate. And that kind of became like an early kind of iteration of April lead gate. It was kind of the first time that I had done a character like that.
