The Impact of Social Media on Self-Esteem
In Iran, it seems to me that young women or young girls are impacted by these conditions of anxiety and stress. And I've read some research that indicates that a lot of this is down to the expectations that are compounded by social media. The 24-7 circulation of easily viewable manipulated images can promote an entrenched, unrealistic expectations of how young people should look and behave. One has to look then at where does that come from?
