i think if you want to be friends with these people, then you've got to be conscious of the ways in which your life are different and do a good job of listening to each other. Yes, sometimes old acquaintances should be forgot this. i still don't totally understand why it's not something i do much any more, unless i'm like leaving the hotel bar,.
