The Spirit of the Gospel, Not the Word, That Saves Us
Paul in his way, apostolicly, is trying to convince people that the spirit of God has the power to liberate you from this or to liberate us from this. For Paul, the tribal division of his day that he's concerned with is Jewish and Gentile. And the model of reconciliation is the self-evolation of Jesus like Christ was willing to be crucified and killed to serve those that he would otherwise have been in tea with.
