How to Write a Comedy for Edinburgh

I sometimes feel that the Edinburgh system is really screwed up yeah because you spend a year writing a show for Edinburgh and then after Edinburgh you don't work on those bits necessary. I regard them as finished so they're a waste of time to do in part of the long run up process. If it's old and works you can keep it and I'm not one of those comics that's got really old stuff but I in a 20 minute on the circuit I think it's fine to do stuff that's gonna work.
