Bodeard's Seduction
Bodeard argues that notions of an objective truth are fundamentally flawed in any attempt to occupy an objective field of studies. The only adequate way to challenge something like Peterson's oppressive rhetoric within this realm of simulation is to engage with what he calls seduction, a concept he defines as the symbolic mastery of forms. Rather than attempting to understand the world as existing outside of appearance as representation or ideology, seduction diverts things from their identity, their reality, and them for the play of appearances for their symbolic exchange.
