I have to remind myself and my ego about when doing bouldering routes in the climbing gym because often the first, you know, I'll get the first three moves. And then it's like move four or five or the crux or whatever it is. My brain's like the only way that you're going to actually be able to say you did this is if you do the whole route. So I will stubbornly keep starting from the beginning when what I should do. With bouldering, you can often just like use other holds that aren't part of your route. You can sometimes even just jump up to the whole D need on a traversal route. But at least a decent
