Many LMS's do not have search functions that would go across your entire course. People sometimes don't know what they're looking for so link profusely. I'm linking to pages on the liquid syllabus all the time. So, you know, I'm not sure if you're looking a lot is helpful, but then also try to use the language that your students would use. If you don't know that then ask them. And the more you ask them to help you the more they see themselves as partners in learning and not the recipients of learning.
