I liked what you said or implied that beauty is not teleological it can't be an end although perhaps it is sometimes a by product of pursuing what's fascinating or exciting. I also loved what you said about attachment issues and how they might explain a more intense experience or need for beauty maybe attachment issues could cause a greater need to be seen and heard. There's the kind of common place of the suffering artist and I think it's far too simple to be a causal relationship. At the same time it's too prevalent to be nothing at all I think there is a correlation.
