Is Naloxone Used for Shivering?

Naloxone may increase pain, especially if someone's had opioids and does not help decrease shivering. So clonidine, dexmetatomidine, propofall, tramadol, phizostigmine, magnesium sulfate, and narcotics have been used to all different degrees of success for post-operative shivering. Would you bolus it or sort of? I'd have to read a little bit more on it, but just having done this podcast review, I might try it. And make sure you check about your own hospital's policies,. But you want to be very careful bolusing dexmeditomidine.
